Where exactly is this place in New York?

It's a very grainy photo in the video, so it's hard to tell. However, I can you tell that it's not Governor's Island.

It actually looks like it was shot from East to West down by the Brooklyn Docks, in the vicinity of Old Fulton Street/Front Street. This area is just south of the Brooklyn Bridge.

The reason I say this, and not Liberty State Park, is because of the position of the Twin Towers (R.I.P.) in the background. The Tower with the antenna was the southernmost tower, so if the shot was taken from NJ, that tower would've been to the right not the left.

My friend, that concert was held at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ. The direction of the stage faces the original World Trade Center, so that puts it at the northeastern end of the park.

Looks like a stage set to me, with a backdrop of lower manhattan in the background. NOT a real stage in real place, but just a backdrop.

The angle looks just like the one from Liberty State Park in NJ, but it's too static. It must have been made from a still shot in Liberty State Park.

it's ellis island. you can see liberty off to the right and downtown manhattan across the hudson.

Staten Island.

It's either acroos the bay of the twin towers or thats the background to his set up theme!
