What reminds you that your alive?

Waking up in the morning! My brother died in his sleep 3 years ago.

When I have a great day. When I feel so much joy, I remember that I'm alive, and I cherish it. When I hurt, I also am reminded of my alive-ness, because I'm feeling something so human. Listening to Incubus also reminds me that I'm alive.

the sound of my heart beating when i lay down the wrong way on a pillow, the pillow presses against a vein in ur neck, it pushes it up against ur pressure point below ur ear so u can hear ur pulse in you head :)

When I take a deep breath.

And the way my heart beats faster and slower at the same time when my he looks at me.

Whenever I catch myself breathing.

Those moments when your heart starts pounding so hard that you can feel your jugular artery pulse... to describe it rather crudely. Ah, adrenaline.
