when your boyfriend says its not working out but you jus started talking again what does it mean?

It means that he is confused and doesn't know what he wants.

Either it really isn't working out; he (or you both) know that the relationship needs to end, but because of confort and emotional/physical attachment neiher of you want to be the first to officially say goodbye.

Or, it could be that whatever problems you're experiencing are superficial, or just not as bad as they seem....... a bump in the road that the confused party has finally realized as such. It could have simply become evident that being without is not worth it, or just as good/bad as being with you.

But again, I think its a confusion thing. and the only way you'll really get this answer is to talk to the boyfriend. This is defiintly one of those things that will make you feel insecure in a relationship, and that's never a healthy thing.
