Number 1: you should never omit any certian type of food, balance is the key. Your body needs those carbs in moderation to survive.
Number 2: you should always eat every meal (at least three, and sometimes small snacks in between) again, moderation is the key.
If you go to www.mypyramid.gov you can customize a healthy plan to loose weight and even do a food plan to make sure you are getting the right nutrients to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Exercise is an imporatant aspect of losing weight. It is important to exercise three times a week for 30 minutes of cardio, with a 5 minute warm up and 5 minute cool down and about two times a week with strength training for 30 minutes at a time.
Please do this the healthy way, other wise you aren't going to get healthy, long lasting results.

"Diets" don't work. Eat healthy and workout 4 to 5 times a week alternating between cardio and resistance training. It's the only thing that works for your life time. Everything else is temporary.

Skipping dinner is terrible. Your body constantly needs food in your system for energy (to burn fat!).
