No matter what you do your mom will love anything you give her. Even a cake and pizza means a lot to her its the fact that you thougth about her that counts. just go in her phonebook and invite friends and family.

I don't know where you reside, but if there's a Cheesecake Factory around, that's a good place to have a surprise b-day party. Gather her friends there, make sure they're there early. Call in ahead of time and order their classic strawberry cheesecake. You can go in early and have the table you want decorated. Do that about 3 hours prior to you showing up with your mom. Get a table that's somewhat hidden so she can't see it when you guys walk in. There are several strategic places within the restaurant. The hostess will help you do everything. It'll be nice.
