Help wedding question?

I think $100 is about standard for the preacher, and Piano player $50 if the are only doing the wedding.

The pastor will instruct you how much the piano player usually gets, we paid ours around 200, (full mass). Also the donation to the church as around the same amount slightly higher.

The best bet is to ask fellow members of the church you are getting married at, since these fees and donations can vary from state to state, and area to area depending on the financial demographic for the area.

I was always under the impression that you should donate about $100 - $200 to the church, and tip the piano player $50, on top of the fee that they are charging.

I paid my pastor like $300 for marry me. For a piano player that all depends on if he/she is a friend and your budget. I was going to have a player but I changed my mind and he was a friend and he was only charging me $100

100-200 for the pastor. A nice donation to the church. Depending on how well you musican plays depends on how much you should give them.

I know that for my wedding the church secretary advised me of what I should donate to the pastor, which was $200.00.

The lady that I hired to play the organ gave me a price of $100.00

If you have someone you could contact at the church they would be your best bet in finding the correct price, as every church, area, etc. varies in prices.
