Does anyone else think these conference tournaments are a waste of time?

it is for the money. They have the BCS in football and they need the conference tournament in basketball. Wat the should do is whoever wins the conference during the season out right goes to the field of 64. I don't get the whole conference tournament thing. its a waste of time and it will always be a waste of time.

Ok then how would the selection committee decide what school from mid-major conferences should go to the Big Dance? The regular season champs or what? You seem to be forgetting that conferences like the American East, Summit League, Northeast, and Horizon League have conference tournaments as well.

Uh.....HELLO????? What planet are you living on?! OF COURSE it's all about the money.....Same thing with the BCS in college football. The AD's think that since there's going to be a sporting event featuring THEIR team & there are gonna be lots of people there to watch it that they should milk it for all it's worth. It's a sad thing that no one wants to come out & admit this, but we sports fans are not dumb. I wonder if & when someone will finally have the GUTS to admit to this & then the charade will finally be OVER. It gives me a bit of a headache.

no. dont get me incorrect the ncaa journey is like christmas to me. theres no longer something extra helpful than the 1st few days whilst theres no longer something yet decrease back to decrease back video games non end all day; the upsets,cinderella memories,colleges,ot's in spite of the shown fact that the super component of why it incredibly is attractive is the having a raffle. a huge component of the people who drool over the journey do no longer even watch college basketball or the sport in any respect. a huge factor of people merely fill out a bracket choosing all the a million seeds the nba playoffs its a team. its the worlds suited competing in a dogs combat for the suited prize. the fights which you dont see in college, buzzer beaters, dominating performances all make the nba playoffs more suitable
