How many teams do you follow daily during the baseball season?

I'm a displaced Sox fan, so I follow Boston on satellite radio and when they are on national TV. As a Sox fan, I pay attention to the Yankees too. I just can't stand their announcers though.

My dad grew up a Senators fan. Nationals Park is 30 minutes from my house and we get all the games on TV. I know the Nats better than anyone should.

I still pay attention to the Orioles who also broadcast all their games here. My wife's family is from Baltimore and they all love to talk baseball.

Update:

So what's your story?

Update 2:

Anyone who says John Sterling is great can't come to my place for opening day. Michael Kay was fine, Charley Steiner is great, but Sterling is a hack.

My favorite moment of game 7 in 2004 was when he accidentally said "at the end of five it's the Yankees 8 and the Red Sox 1... (then dejectedly) that's Red Sox 8 and Yankees 1."

Update 3:

I can't pick a best answer, you all did a great job. I'll let you pick the best.

Being in DC, where everone else is from somewhere else, we have a lot of out of town fans. It has always intrigued me how fans follow their teams when they are no longer living near that city.

The main team I follow is the Yankees. I also like to keep track of what the other AL East teams are doing. Especially the Red Sox. Also, I live in New York so it's kind of hard not to know what the Mets are up to. If I'm reading the paper, occasionally I'll read an article pertaining to them. And sometimes I'll watch a game if they Yanks aren't playing.

My favorite team is the White Sox but I mainly follow the Diamondbacks because i live here in az now. Luckily WGN has games so i can still watch some ...and when i go to my parents house they have MLB extra innings which is amazing..

thanx david for hating our annoucers! ever listened to micheal kay or john sterling? they are gr8 announcers, probably one of the best in the league.

i am a die-hard yanks fan, my whole life, of course i keep up with mets b/c i live in ny so i keep up with them 2, even though i root 4 them 2 loose. i obviously keep up with the sox and the philies 2 c if they're gaining on the mets.

thats basically it but i like 2 check like who has the worst average (royals, or rays) or who's the best (yanks maybe sox) or who has the longest record

    in short, 4 teams

    I actually follow 3 teams.

Cleveland Indians - an hour up the road from where I live

Pittsburgh Pirates - an hour down the road from where I live

Toronto Blue Jays - the team for whom I am most passionate about.

I'm a die-hard Detroit fan and only follow them daily. I do pay attention to the Cubs and this year I will probably follow the Indians closely.
