Acceptance of Three Year Degree from India as equivalent to US Bachelor's Degree?
I have been endlessly searching for a degree evaluation service which will provide US degree equivalency of my degree from India, which I need in order to obtain my Teacher Certification. I have approached numerous evaluation services. However, they do not accept the three year degree from India as the equivalent to a 4-yr US Bachelor's Degree.
I have been living in the Houston area since 1984 and am a naturalized U.S. citizen. I have been a Montessori Teacher in the Houston area for 23 years, teaching kindergarten and elementary levels, as well as substitute teaching. I originally received my BS degree in Chemistry (Advanced Honors Program) from the University of Rajasthan over 25 years ago.
Do you know of any degree evaluation services which will accept my degree from India as the equivalent to a 4-yr US Bachelor's Degree?

Your best option may be to take the final part of your course - even as an online course - to get a 4 year degree.
This is an area I am ignorant of, to be honest. I would just see how much more school time you have and go from there.

Indian degrees have a serious image problems because of extreme variability in the value of the degrees. Some Indian Universities' Bachelor's degrees are world class, while at the other extreme many are not much better than USA High School diplomas. The scaling of Indian exam results is also problematic for USA evaluators. In many Indian universities 50% is a pass. There is no systematic way to convert Indian degree into US equivalents. Indian graduates who wish to study or work in the USA often take a Master's degree. To demonstrate readiness for Master's studies, Indian students take USA graduate exams such as the GRE and GMAT, or the EIT/FE exam for Engineers.
