Does any one out there know what you put in water based paint to water proof it?

    latex will become water-proof when it dries. the more coats the better, and the more gloss the better.

    there is a clear glaze you can put over it or as suggested buy a washable paint if this is for waterproofing like a basement the ther isa specific product for that

    I don't know of anything you can put in the paint. Is this interior? You can buy washable paint.

    no such thing...but if you need a water resistant coat, then apply polyurethane over the dried clean surface...a couple of coats if its a high traffic area.

    I don't think there is anything like that. What do you mean by waterproof? Be specific.
