Why is the Obama with Racist Preacher the big Troll-topic of the day?

Thans C.S... my sentiments exactly. The anti-Obama collition on this forum ask the same inflamatory questions over and over and over. I note a serious imbalance in that very few questions like these are directed at Hillary. Makes you wonder if Hillary or Mccai have some drones in their camps that sit on YA all day and post this drivel. Would not suprise me at all.

it is the topic of the day and they always get lots of questions. Obama supporters make the most of the daily news to knock Hilliary supporters and Hilliary supporters do the same...so you can't pick and chose which one is allowed to do that, that would be discrimination and that is why the topic is...a double standard and how it is unfair.

Obama has said this man is his mentor and therefore has a lot of influence over Obama and the question is: should he?

Obama campaigns on the promise of hope and change, while never telling us what that is. When we find out that he has been sitting under the teaching of a racial segragationalist for the past 20 years---constantly hearing gross misrepresentations, and hatred, you have to wonder how this has impacted his thinking. Is this his idea of hope, and of a new future? You need to understand that he and his wife chose this church because of this pastor. To say he has no responsibility for what the pastor says, is true. But the pastor believes the things he's teaching, and Obama chose it. He chose this pastor. He chose this church. He chose this hatemonger as a spiritual leader.

The questions you should be asking yourself is, why did he join this church? Why did he stay with this church for 20 years? Why does he subject himself, his wife, and his kids to this hatemonger in church as often as he goes? Why does he donate large sums of money to this church and this pastor? Who in the world joins a church to listen to a pastor who is a racist hatemonger? Who contributes money to a church where the pastor is a racist? How can it be said that Obama didn't know what this pastor was preaching? Obama has said that he searched for a church that was appropriate for his beliefs. This is the church that he settled on.

Here's a thought for you... Liberals should try applying the same level of scrutiny to their own positions as they do to everyone elses.

Voting for a left wing radical like obama is voting this country into socialism which was our stark enemy in the 1950's and 60's. Why would anyone vote for something that has never worked nor is working anywhere in the world is beyond me. You would be voting for people who are going to tell you what to do, when to do it and where to do it, what ever it is you are thinking about.

If Obama listens to obvious racist NONSENSE like this guy was spewing, I don't even want him in the Senate. That preacher was terrible! Using God's house to go and teach against the Bible and pass judgement from the pulpit.... what a farce!

The fact that the Next President of the United States could be involved with this guy as a personal friend, sit in his church every week for 20 years is important. If Hillary Clinton attended meetings with the KKK every week for 20 years I think it would be getting a huge amount of attention too. If John McCain was attending meetings with the Red Brigade once a week I think it would be getting a huge amount of attention. Obama has to explain this to the people, it goes to the very heart of his judgment.

Why do people still support Obama is my question. And why did it take so long to bring this up? Hell, I read his Church's mission statement months ago, before they changed it and figured him out.

Obama comes from an affluent background and has enjoyed a through education.
