How to save on electric heating?
What will spend less power?
One electric heaters, or two in one room?
I mean if there is a thermostat on both of them, one would have to work longer to get to a certain degree, but two would do it faster?
Has anybody calculated what would be a better thing to do to save energy and money?

Expect one heater to use less power. It will heat the area around its own thermostat. If there are two heaters, they will heat the areas around two thermostats, which is a larger space. Two heaters will use twice as much power to return a room to the set temperature twice as fast. This will use more energy and money.
If you get two heaters, try to put them on different circuits. A normal (U.S.) 120V circuit will not handle more than about 1,900 Watts.

Theoretically, if you have two of the same type of heater s which use the same amount of watts, they would use the same amount of energy to reach the temp you're seeking in half the time. But since they use that energy x2 you're spending the same amount of cash, maybe even a little more since you have to warm up twice the elements. I would go with one. Like the other person said; take care of how well your place is insulated first, this will save you the most money.

From what I read, you would save alot if you turn it down at night and when you leave your home. I actually hear that if you buy a Reiker ceiling fan which has a heater in it, it will distribute heat more evenly throughout. If you stay with electric heaters, I would only put one per room.
But anyways, if you were to get the heater ceiling fan, you should save more. I hear they sell them on ebay, but also I hear they sell them at like Menards or lowes. Check them out. Good luck.

I think your money would probably be better spend insulating and weatherproofing. Whether it's one or two heaters should not matter.
