Which is a lower glycemic index...?

Wheat bread (not "whole wheat") or sourdough? Also, would a "roll" beat both of them (I'm sorry, I know that's not specific...I'm thinking of a white kaiser roll in this case...)

Foods that are in a class of carbohydrates (eg complex, starches) that don't get absorbed (ie. get into the blood stream) as quickly as foods with a higher glycemic index.(eg. simple sugars).

Sorry, misread the question.. Wheat bread beats white (but not by much).
