first question: gettin braces 2nd question...?

my 13 year old daughter got braces recently and all her friends told her that it would hurt but they actually didn't hurt. She loves them. Yes you will have to wear a retainer after wards for years. No they don't numb you.

I think number three is diarrhea but I'm not sure. Drinking water is water that you drink.

no it doesn't hurt to get braces on or off...they don't need to numb you or anything all they do is use this special ortho glue stuff and put your braces on. They will give you a retainer when you get them off and it is good to wear it because it hold your teeth in place so they don't move and then you would end up with braces again. That happend to me and i had to rounds of braces and that all added up to about 5 or 6 years of braces and it sucked.

For the number thing i think like 3 is pee and poop together and 4 is like throw up, 5 diarea, idn

I've had braces and it does not hurt to get them on. You will be VERY sore the first couple of days. But afterwards, its alot of fun to change your band colors and stuff like that. I dont think they numb you, cuz it doesnt really hurt. Im glad they dont numb you, cuz that would mean a needle..OUCH!

But, im almost positive they didnt numb me, so they probably wouldnt numb you!!

Yes you have to wear a retainer after getting the braces off!

You have to wear the retainer at all times for like month maybe? And then you get a check-up to see if you've been wearing it properly. If you have, then the doc will tell you to only wear if at night time.

Hehe I just got mine last year so my memory is still fresh. Putting them on doesn't hurt so there is no need to be numbed. After you have them on they don't really hurt that bad...just when you bite down or move your mouth too much so try not to eat anything hard for about a week. As far as the retainer, yes you have to wear one. It's kind of annoying for me but you gotts be careful with it because if you loose it (like I did) your dentist is not gonna be happy and your gonna have to pay for a new one.

Braces are very painful for the first few days, but you get used to it and soon they don't hurt anymore until you get them tightened, then they hurt for a few hours. You don't get numbed. If you want your teeth to stay in the shape, you have to wear a retainer for many years afterwards.

#3 is eating soft foods

#4 is drinking water

#5 is drinking alcoholic beverages

#6 is eating hard foods

1 is pee, 2 is poop. That's it. There is no 3, etc.

First question : They dont hurt when they actually put them on its just a lot of pressure, however after you get them on IMMEDIATLEY

take to asprins becuase it will start to hurt like hell! Make sure you eat real nice before you get them. And no they dont numb you. And you dont wear your retainer until after your braces are taken off which probably wont be until another year or more for you.

Second question. There is technically no number 3. If anyone said that they were just being silly.

Yes it hurts to get braces (they do not numb you). Take some pain medication before going to get them on and keep on the medicine afterwards until the pain goes away (for me it was about a day or two). Yes, you do wear a retainer after you get your braces off, but you get to pick the color.

no it doesn't, not right away at least. Ewat a big lunch or something, because you won't be able to eat much for the rest of the night, have soft foods for a couple of days afterwards, if you don't your teeth will just hurt more. My ortho-guy didn't numb me, but if they did, it would just wear off by the time you actually needed it.

Drinking water is number 4, number 3 is a smoke break, number 5 is sick and have to puke, and number 6 is just to confuse the person long enough so you can get away from them if they're annoying or whatever.

well i don't know the answer for the 2nd question ... but i do know the answer to the first.

no they don't numb you ... it doesn't hurt at all getting them on ... but later that day & for atleast a week its a bit painful .... but it eventually starts feeling better after a week... some advice for you is not to chicken out cuz they really make your teeth look nice!

& yes about the retainer too ... you HAVE to wear it when your braces are removed or they will eventually go back to where they were!
