    I stayed long enough to convince myself I'd done all I could to make it work...then I got the h*ll out. And never looked back.

    2nd marriage -- lasted for 7 years (I stayed because of the children). Then she started cheating, & the guilt got to be too much for her, I suppose. She's the one who broke up the family.

    at first because i didn't want to admit to anyone just how bad of a mistake it was, and for a short while, i didn't feel as though i had a choice - when i finally got my head straightened around i left

    Too many not good reasons to list!! I even married him so that my mother would no longer be upset that we were living together! Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez!! I could list probably over 100 reasons that were very unfortunate!!

    Because I loved the kid. She wasnt mine, but I raised her like she was and love her still like she's my own blood.

    And she still calls me Daddy.

    It was worth it and I'd do it again.
