Islam elevated the status of women 1400 years ago by giving them many new freedoms. They had the right to divorce, and right to seek financial independence and support. Islam also gave women the right to get an education.

some view the hijab as an oppression of the women, they will have many prejudgements about the hijab and its significance in islam. There have been many instances within the European community of opression against muslim women by those people who calim to love freedom and allow choices, this is evident in the secular country of Turkey which has been the place of recent controversy of the wearing of hijab in this essay i intend to prove that the hijab is something good for women muslim and non-muslim alike. I will do this by using two point views the first one being from the religious perspective and the second being my personal experience.
I think you have rushed the intro too much.
An intro is to show the subject i.e. this is what the topic about, this maybe the common view and this is what i hoped to achieve then you 2nd paragraph should start....however...
be sure to mention about radio presenters who are not seen yet they still get there msg across!!
Also look into other religion e.g. christianity nuns

Turkey is de-facto a Muslim county notwithstanding no longer by shape. Hijab heavily isn't an emblem for Islam, neither is it for Christianity and Judaism. Likewise a Pope isn't the emblem of western values. yet you are going to continuously locate execs and cons. permit´s no longer cut back the discussions some faith precise right down to what people placed on. If it replaced into as quickly as as much as public vote , the ban for hijab and something alongside those lines could be overthrown by a referendum.

Hello,
Many wear the hijab for personal choice. I have enough problems and business of my own to take care of without worrying or interfering how people dress in other cultures.
As a heterosexual guy with a roving eye I can assure you that Hope is absolutely correct though being attracted and feeling hot about the opposite sex is not a perversion... just natural or we wouldn't be attracted to one another and reproduce. If I see a nice sexy girl walking down the street in a flimsy blouse and micro mini skirt, I have to admit I get wicked thoughts going through my mind and think, what I could do in bed with her. A woman wearing a long dress or gown, and her head covered with a hijab, gives me no thoughts at all and I pay no attention. If that is her intention for dressing like that, so be it and she is on the right track.
Cheers,
Michael Kelly

"Without realizing it, Christianity and Judaism both call for the covering of a woman's head and both religions do not allow for the freedoms and rights that Islam affords women according to the Qur'an."
(examples: Women are allowed to be business owners, are allowed to keep any money their make on their own, are allowed to choose their own spouse - not forced to be the property of any man.)

i am sure you will get different responses. but here is something interesting to add:
in the last decade in egypt, there were a very interesting phenomena. that is many of the movie stars and singers celebrities, decided to leave everything behind and wear Hijab. They did it on their own based on conviction.
This is a link (don't read the article coz it is in arabic), but the picture in it is for celebrities who decided to quit and weared Hijab

In the west, many people believe Muslim women are forced to wear the hijab, but they are wrong. The hijab is a choice. Islam is against forcing anyone to do something.
how about that?

Many in the West feel sorry for any Muslim women they see them adorned in their modest clothing. They believe that they are deprived the freedom to roam around in more limited and revealing clothing. However this is not the case....... (and add what you want)
