Check the power consumption stickers of the items you want to power, ad them together, and add 20% more. This is the wattage of the supply you will need.

Example 1600 watts needs a 2000 watt supply.

The length of time you will wan to run those items will make a big difference in the STORAGE device you will need.

Solar panels are usually 12 vt increments (12, 24, etc.) and run in the milli-amp range of output.

This means not a lot of watts at any one time directly from your panel.

That is where the storage device (battery ) comes into play.

Most computers actually do run on 12 volts, the plug into the power supplly results in a 12 vt output to the machine. So, to take the 12 vt from solar, convert / invert to 120, then back to 12 wastes a large amount of the enrgy in those steps.

Consider using a laptop (12 vt alread) unless you are into hardware hacking and will make a direct from 12 vt machine.

You can also look at low ebnergy use lights, in 12 vt- consider looking at camper and motor home supply appliances and fixtures, or look at LED lighting. These use much less energy and will gie you a lot better useage of your panel energy and battery.
