When did you first hear about Obama as a possible presidential candidate, and from whom did you first hear it.

At the 2004 Dem convention. He made a Keynote speech and was being touted as a future superstar by Dems' delegates and the media.

I watched his speech at the 2004 Democratic Convention. He was the highlight of the whole show and that speech unintentionally stole the thunder from Kerry. Right after the Dems lost the election, Obama was a contender.

I'm from Illinois, so I've known him for a while, and he always grabbed my attention. Then my boss told me about him running for President. At the beginning, I was excited with Hillary because she is a woman like me, but then after studying all candidates platforms, and listening to them talking, I was captivated by Obama's sincerity, and transparency, and unity capacities. Now I'm convinced that he is the best candidate.

Don't know when I first heard him listed as possible. I noticed his name years ago when I was checking who stood up and warned against invading Iraq again. I thought he gave a very eloquent warning about how what we were doing could go wrong.

The first time I heard his name was on Fox News sometime last year. They were talking about the "Obama Girls" and I thought it was a typo of "Osama" and wondered why these girls would be fascinated by Osama Bid Laden.
