If you are living in Western Pacific El Nino is drought while La Nina is flood

If you are living in Eastern South America El Nino is flood while La Nina is drought.

I am living in the Philippines, and we have an unusual rain this month of February and March, so we have a La Nina this year

El Nino and La Nina are weather phenomenons that change weather patterns. Therefore, in some places El Nino will cause a drought, and some places El Nino causes a flood. La Nina will cause a drought in some places, and a flood in others. So a La Nina doesn't always cause a flood, and a El Nino doesn't always cause a drought. It depends where you live.

Generally you can say that extreme weather conditions(hot or cold, flood or drought etc) are possible during El NIno or La Nina phenomena depending upon the place.
