Why is Yahoo handing out violations like candy on Halloween?
Perhaps original answers are no longer acceptable? Maybe Yahoo should just start answering all the questions for us since the road is so narrow?
I received a violation notice because Yahoo didn't consider my response to be an answer. Maybe it's like Jeopardy where you have to phrase your responses a certain way?

Yahoo! mainly acts on reports made by members of the Community. If you're reported, a computer issues a violation notice and it's up to the user to appeal.

I dunno. I've seen a lot of complaints in which people showed us what they received a violation for, and frankly... about 99% of them absolutely deserved it. The Community Guidelines aren't that hard to read -- the legions of us who hardly ever get a violation are living proof of that.
1400-something answers and just a violation or two -- I don't think that means I'm just lucky. And I certainly ain't buddies with anyone at Yahoo.

Actually, Y!A merely agrees wtih the violation statement without ever looking deeper into it

truly I got 3 today - - the last email didn't even say what question I answered that I supposedly violated the guidelines on - - - I'll appeal again, but I've never heard back from one yet.

You too, huh! And I thought it was just me. I'm getting sick of the violations... it's like Yahoo is spamming me! ROFL!

If you're playing games, it's NOT allowed here.
Because of point-gaming, not an answer and chatting.
