I keep getting email from my own email address !!! and i am fed up of it. Why does this happen?

There are programs out there that allow you to ghost an email address,this makes the person think they have been hacked etc

DO NOT OPEN IT, if you do you are verifying that your e-mail address is active,just mark it as spam and forget about it

i think someone has gotten ur email account password and is composing and emailing ur email address while they are logged in as u. Try changing ur email address, maybe that will solve the problem.

When you send an email, make sure there is nothing in the spot that says BCC or CCC and check the options menu to see if you have the automated selection checked to send any emails you send to yourself.

i found out recently that my email address was sending out emails without me knowing to people in my address book, have you not added your own email 2 your address book by accident??.........p.s...i will keep an eye on this page incase anyone knows how to stop emails being sent out hehe!

are u going into sent messages and replying to them? Or u could be putting ur email into the other guys email section.

u probably visited some crappy site and gave ur email address for signing up. in gmail u got uptions such as --mark it spam, always go to trash and delete forever

Make sure that your not typing in things from the BCC or CCC under the send to spot. This will send the same e-mail to other or to you.
