How can I preserve a flower's smell in a bottle?

...without resorting to any chemical method.

    If you could actually preserve the smell,scent or aroma without chemicals you'd probably be a bazillionaire!

    I don't know of anyone that has been able to caputure the actual smell with or without chemicals.

    You could make an essential oil, but that requires a distilling process. The equipment to do such can be very costly though, and depending on the flower, it may not produce scent post-production. I have attempted this many times, and was only successful once with a lilac. unfortunately by the time I got my substance there was only a few drops left.
