Cell Phone Buttons Falling Off?

Last year I bought a Rizr Z3, now the center button has fallen off and the ring shaped area around it is also starting to tear off. Any ideas on what I should do? Ive tried plain Krazy Glue and it lasts about 30 minutes until it begins to come off again. Please Help!

I have the same problem! Friends have also told me of similar issues with the buttons falling off their Motorola's. What's really disappointing is that My Rizr is still covered under warranty, but when I talked to customer service they told me they cant exchange it if there is any physical damage, and they consider the missing button to be physical damage. I've resorted to using just dab of Krazy glue advanced formula gel. It's been a few weeks now and it seems to be working great. The only other advice I can give is to try and not open the phone by pressing up on the center buttons- remember to use the little raised bar under the screen.

Since its after a year, I don't believe your warranty covers it. You can try going through the Phone Insurance and Upgrading but they probably won't want to do it because there is no warranty, they will say that it is physical damage that you caused therefore they cannot do it.

I had trouble just last Friday night, getting a new Phone because the keypad was coming up and I am STILL under warranty.

Try taking it into a store and asking them what they can do. Don't use Krazy Glue and wipe it all off and wait till tomorrow.

i dont believe that your phone is over a year since the phone hasnt been out for a year... umm i dont think the service providers warranty will cover this i would call motorola directly and let them know of the problem 800-331-6456

if the phone is older then one year old it is out of warranty and you will have to pay to get it fixed, if it is with in one year take it back to the store you bought it from.
