White deposits on dishes?

What is this? Hard water or something else? We seem to be finding hard white bits in our glasses, we have filtered water, so I know it's coming from the dishwasher... What is it and what do I do? It's gross to see it in my glass!

You may have lime deposits in your dishwasher from having hard water. There is a special bottle of cleaner that is sold in the grocery/department stores, that will eliminate hard water deposits on the dishes. Read the directions on the bottle before you begin. Do this procedure once a month. I can't think of the name of the Dishwasher Cleaner but it comes in a blue & white plastic bottle. It's sold in the section where dishwasher products are sold. Make sure that both of your sprayer arms are not hitting dishes when it's washing the dishes. If it can't move freely, it won't wash/rinse your dishes properly.
