Can you use Tiger Woods 08 Nerf Golf Club Pack with Tiger Woods 07 Game for WII?
We are getting our new wii this weekend and I want to a Tiger Woods game for my husband. I have seen where there is a Tiger Woods 08 golf club pack that attaches to the WiiMote to make it feel like a real golf swing but the extention pack says Tiger Woods 08 on it and I intend to buy Tiger Woods 07 game.
Does anyone know if it is compatibe with Tiger Woods 07 game? Since my husband has not played either Tiger Woods game and the 07 game is less than half the price of Tiger Woods 08, I was going to buy him 07 to start with.
Thanks for the great explanation. I found a really cheap generic golf club attachment along with a baseball bat, tennis racket, steering wheel, etc on ebay for $4.99 so I just did that instead. If he doesn't like/use it, I've really lost nothing.
Could you, or someone else tell me the benefits of Tiger Woods 08 over Tiger Woods 07? Why is 08 better?

Yes it will, it is simply a glove that goes over the wiimote that makes it feel a little more like a golf club. Personally, it is not nessesary, and I would rather have the 08 version of the game rather than the 07 version + the golf club. I don't know how popular they are, and in all honesty I have never used the club, but I have played the game without it and it works great. I personally dont see the need for it. When it comes down to it, it is a plastic glove. Won't actually make it "feel" like a golf club.

While I've never played either, I'm assuming that the 08 version would be better simply for the fact that this is the second go around for EA with the Wii and the Tiger franchise. The first came out shortly after the Wii was released. The 08 version of the game would incorporate any changes they felt were necessary for controls, based on feedback from the 07 version, and the graphics will probably be slightly better.
There are a few new features too, like confidence boosting (makes your shots better or worse depending on your previous hole's performance), a few new courses, and probably updates and fine-tuning on the previous version.
If price is a factor, go with the 07. It received decent praise and will be a great introduction to golfing games on the Wii.
I will say, don't waste your time with the plastic attachments. They add nothing to the game (they actually probably inhibit some things, like the pointer functionality if the front of the remote gets covered up) and will probably never be used beyond the first or second time. If there's anything gimmicky about the Wii, it's all the unnecessary third-party remote attachments.
WiiSports, which comes with the Wii, also has a golf game on it, fyi.
Enjoy, it's a great system!

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.
You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net/
