Would you rather...?

"Is it better to be happy living under a delusion, or be miserable seeing the truth?"

I saw this in the signature of some dude on a message board. Stolen, sorry dude, but anyway... So, which would you rather pick and why?

I personally would live with the truth. The truth may hurt, but if I didn't get the truth... I'd be more annoyed.

    hmm. yeah being happy with the truth is so.. well fake. But to be miserable every day knowing that so many people are back stabbing bitches.. but also the truth isnt always a horrible thing. it can be good sometimes so.. i would rather see truth then delusion

    I would rather be ethical than living a lie. The thrill of happiness is ephemeral but the truth is everlasting! I'd rather be miserable knowing the truth b/c at least I know I'm right!

    Why not being happy while seeing the truth!

    Real as it may be, life is a reality. What we make of it is our own doing. So if we can feel happy and live happy, then why not do so!

    i want to be miserable seeing the truth...at least there is no hanging "what if" question in your head all the time...you maybe happy buit im sure thats only temporary...how can someone be happy under delusion, its all pretending...if that continue, you maybe becoime a delusional person which is harder to cure...truth will set you free, right?...no matter how its hurt...
