How hard is it to install a wireless card in an IMac?
Is it something I can readily do at home? I think it would save $$ over another cable modem and monthly fees. Thanks.

Your iMac comes with an Airport WiFi adapter built-in already, unless it's older than dirt.
The REAL question is: Do you have at least a Wireless G router?
If not, get one from your ISP or buy any brand name WiFi router from the nearest computer store. They will all work with OS X.

an airport card isn't user installable. it will void your warranty. just get a usb dongle for wireless...
