I am looking for something to do tomorrow night in Oakland County - anywhere between Commerce and Bloomfield - Just something for two 50 something females to do - Bar with a band - Concert in a park - Restaurant with a patio - Suggestions?

I have a three year old Magic Chef dishwasher. About once a week (or every third time trying to use it), it goes nutty. Nothing happens when you hit the buttons - doesn't start. It gets power just fine because the "delay wash" lights will light up - in fact, they will light up and flash, but then that's it - they shut right back off. This will go on for a couple of days, and then out of the blue, when I push the "start" button again, it will run - with me having done nothing to the actual dishwasher. Any ideas? Nothing in the troubleshooting portion of the manual at all. In fact, that manual was worthless.

The pattern calls for it to be lined. The fabric I have is an iridescent pink/green - very light pink, and only looks green when bunched together - kind of like this:

I have a two story foyer. I need a new chandelier, as the one that is there is all chrome and glass - so 80s! Plus, it is a huge pain to clean. The actual foyer area beneath the chandelier is about 5' by 5' - I'd like to find something that is modern-ish - but not crazy modern. Nothing bright chrome, that's for sure. And I'd like to stay away from units that have too many moving parts that could go crooked - In other words none of those chandeliers that have the little candles/lampshades - I'm kind of OCD about things being straight. I'd like to keep it under $600 - All links appreciated - I've been looking for months and am driving myself crazy.

Hi. I am looking for a jewelry box that I saw several years ago somewhere on line. On the top/lid it had the Korean word for Love with an infinity symbol underneath it. Ring a bell with anyone? If not, does anyone have a graphic/pdf type file of the symbol in Korean for love?

So here's the story. I have been seeing this guy for a couple of years. We had some problems with his attitude toward my kids, so have been on the outs for the past couple of weeks. We talked on Thursday and I said he had to decide what he was going to do, because we could not go on with him acting like he does with my kids. On Saturday he called and asked me to meet him for a beer at a restuarant at 5:00, so we could talk - I told him 6:00 was better because it was Homecoming for my son. We have a beer, never talk, and leave at 8:30. He doesn't follow me home - just walks me out the car and tells me he loves me.

I think of something funny on the way home, so I called to tell him, and I hear all this noise in the background. I ask him where he is - says he's at the bar watching the college football game - I say, oh, never mind (to my funny story) and say goodbye.

So the question is - would you feel like a loser if someone did that to you and it's now 8:45 on a Saturday and you're home alone and he's out at the bar?

I am looking for a new product that will help define my newly curly/wavy hair (must be a hormonal thing). I want something that I put in my hair while it's wet, but won't be crunchy when it's dry. I have tried LOTS and am, frankly, getting tired of all the bottles on my counter of products that don't work (even though the labels swear they will). So, give me your tried and true best ideas for a leave-in curl enhancing product.

Does anyone know anything about this group? They claim they are a privately held community outreach service formed to provide information about the Improved Pension Program to wartime veterans/surviving spouses who reside in long term care/assisted living facilities.

While they don't take any money/fees, they will refer you to a financial planner - who will gladly take your $$. Anyone ever used them? My sister went to a meeting last night, she said it seemed like she was going to have to buy a time-share before it was all said and done.
