I would try them all as you don't know which one will be receptive at that time. Unfortionately the one I have used La Basha closed and became something else. Try 2booli (they have a liquor license), La Marsa, Green Olives, Al Ameer.

You could have your reception at the Detroit Zoo. There is a hall there that is available to rent for special occasions such as weddings. A friend of mine got married there and it was amazing. Plus the photo shoot based around the zoo was unique and gorgeous. Another option would be to rent out the Detroit Princess ship for your reception.
