Are you familiar with The Original Detroit Style Pizza?
Why is there Chicago style, New York Style, California style, and yet the place that has the most influence on Pizza thru chains like Little Caesars, Domino's, Hungry Howie's, Marco's, And Buddy's (the original deep dish-Not like Uno which is the actual Chicago Style) not better recognized nationally as Detroit Style Pizza?
You never hear, "let's get a Detroit Style Pizza" when many are saying Chicago style meaning Detroit style.

Detroit has a lot of Italians .... it should have it's original pizza

You've not considered Italian style?!
Maybe you need to work out what Original means.
