I have to disagree with a previous post...Benihana, Jekyll & Hyde and BB Kings are all tourist traps.

My favourite is Blue Smoke in the Chelsea District. Great Modern Barbecue and a terrific bar.

If that's too pricey, try Honey which isn't that far from Blue Smoke.

Go to NY Chinatown, you can find all the flavors there at a seasonal price.
