Where are you?

Where are all you East haters this morning. Whats the matter did you finally realize that the Celtics and the Pistons are for real?

Celtics end the streak, great job by the Rockets but not good enough to beat the Celtics.

Slow ball Pistons play up tempo and beat the team that is built for up tempo.

Where are all those guys who were saying that these teams would be the 1st or second seed if they played in the East?

I am an east supporter...those celtics are 20-4 against the "powerful" west, plus they swept the Spurs.....

If the Celtics played in the West, they will still be the first seed...

The Celtics are definitely a contender when they are at full strength, but the question remains...Will they be when the playoff come?

The Pistons on the other hand took care of a Denver team who has not played D all year and therefore are destined to miss the playoff this year.

Both of these teams could compete in the west but it would not have been as easy as it had in East. They also have an advantage over the western teams....The western champion will be so bruised after 3 playoff series that it will be harder for them in the finals against a Easter champion whose road is obviously much easier....But it will be foolish to think that either the Pistons or Celtics could not be beaten by any of the top dogs in the west ( Suns, Lakers, Hornets, Spurs, etc)

Source(s): Where were you when the suns beat the Celtics last week?

I'm a big Rockets fan. If they were going to finally end the streak, I'm glad it was Boston who did it. What I don't understand it why people are still talking about the Lakers as if they're some sort of contender? As much as I like the Rockets, I've got my eyes open to see that they can't win the championship this year without Yao in the middle. Most people would agree that the West, in general, is stronger this year, but I'd never rule out Celtics or Pistons for taking it all the way.

I'm not even American, but watch NBA since 1992 finals.

And I have to say that even if the East is weaker, Detroit and Boston can play teams from West without any complex.

Yes, they have easy schedules and more time to rest, and so? What can they do about it?

I like the way these teams balance their game: In Boston 3 superstars are OK to share the ball, they got each other's back, and make all the other players better (Remember when the Lakers failed to do this with their big 4?). In Detroit, each win has it's own MVP, you can never know who will make the big plays.

I love the way West teams play also...

So please let the show go on, and stop spoiling the pleasure of watching a great NBA season, by telling bad things on good teams and great players.

I go for the Pistons and I am in the east. I totally agree with you. Where are all the East haters. Lol they are probably thinking how the West teams are going to beat the first and second seeds of the East.

i'm a pistons fan but i have to disagree with he who made a point about the C's sweeping the spurs. who else in the East swept the spurs last year? the cavs. and what happened come finals. the west is defiitaly real this year and fun to watch and see whats gonna happen, but for the most part the celtics and pistons are equal or better to any team in the west. they play ball all year like everyone else. come playoff time they're ready.

we'll see what happens, its gonna be ill to see how the west shaes up with 4.5 games separating the top 8 currently.

    im just waiting...

I'm right here...you could put a cherry on top, but the East still sucks...Westside!!!
