Unfortunately, with that calorie level, you will be gaining weight! When your body doesn't get enough fuel, it goes into starvation mode, which means instead of using the food you eat to fuel itself, it begins the process of STORING every calorie it can grab-which will likely be all of them or close to it. Your body will then begin eliminating vital processes to allow you to continue your exterior activities like walking, talking. It's like your income. If you get $3500 each month, but your minumum expenses are $3800, you obviously have to cut $300 from some part of your budget. With your body, however, the loss of nutrients does sometimes do permanent damage to your organs. Not getting the minimum 1200 calories will cause your kidneys and other vital organs to begin to deteriorate. If the starvation mode lasts for an extended length of time, which could be anything above a week, you could see permanent damage-which could range from anything like kidney failure to not being able to conceive a child.
Even though I do not know you, and what your actual situation is, I care enough to tell you the truth. I know that you don't want to hear what I have to say, and I am obviously not trying to appease you to get the best answer points-even if this REALLY IS THE BEST ANSWER. I pray that you will choose to be safe. Your future is counting on the decisions you make today.

No no no! I am losing almost two pounds a week, eating 1300 calories a day! If you eat any less than that, your body will not be getting enough nutrients, and you will become malnourished, your body will not have the energy to do anything, let alone exercise, and without exercise, you might as well not even diet! Your immune system will slow down, and you will likely wind up in the hospital either with some awful illness, or just plain anorexia!
If you want to reduce your bodies total absorption of calories a day, you need to exercise enough to burn off most of the calories you eat a day, not just restrict them altogether!! Please, please do not restrict them that far!! For your height and weight, you can safely restrict them to 1200 calories a day, but no further! :)

it really depends on what you're eating. There's a big dif. if that 500 calories are from healthy foods or if those 500 calories are from junk foods. Exercise is the key to it all. You just have to eat healthy, exercise(in the morning is the best time b/c it jump starts ur metabolism) Good luck and don't forget u might gain a little weight in muscle at first b/c ur not over weight.

It really depends. How much are you eating at the moment-if its considerably more than 500 cals, then your body may loose a couple of pounds in the first few days (water retention), but then switch to starvation mode-meaning it'll be really hard to loose any more weight.
Increasing your fitness will help, but with such a little calorie intake you'll get tired easily.
I found it easier, to cut out carbs-they bloated me.

And you're not going to get the answer you like, because what you're suggesting is dangerous, especially when you are already at a healthy weight for your height.
Sorry!
