I heard a rumor that an aspirin added to the battery fluid might do some good. Scares me, but aspirin is acidic. any ideas?

Don't put anything in a car battery that isn't supposed to be there. At best it may ruin your battery. At worst it might react and spit acid into your face!

This is a sincerely bad idea. It is the recipe for buying a new battery.

Think about it clearly. If an aspirin helped (which it won't), wouldn't battery makers put them in from the start? They could then claim even longer battery life.

dont it will cause an reaction that is nott good for the battery it will carode the plates in the battery and cause more damegde the best thing to do is to have it tested and replaced if it needs it do a turmanal cleaning retest and replace if nessery it may cause case bulging that may explode and cause other issues the altanator may over charge anyways and burn the battery up if that is the case then the altanator needs replaced as well have a technition service the vehical or check with ur dealer for specficacation and testing and any autoparts stores to.

I wouldn't do it to my battery unless it was complaining of a headache. Personally, it sounds like a silly thing to do. I don't see how that tiny little bit of acidic material would do a bit of good.

You can do it to yours, but don't complain if you have to replace the battery. They're only $50-$100 or so, depending on how much battery your car needs.

Heya, I had the most success with Tims battery plan (i found it on google). In my experience it was the most incredible method that I have tried so far. Maybe worth a shot.
