I Need packed lunch ideas.....?

My man works in construction and is sick of lunchmeat! He doesn't have access to a microwave on the jobsite so I would like some ideas on what to pack him besides sandwiches.

    Buy him a good thermos.

Then you can put any pasta or leftover dish in the microwave right before he leaves and stick it in the thermos, it will stay hot for hours!

Ideas for what to put in thermos...

    -Canned ravioli

    -canned pasta

    -macaroni

    -beans and wieners

    -spaghetti

lots of ideas, you can put alot of different things in.

Cold salmon from dinner the night before or a cold chicken breast. You can add a nice salad to either of these. Crackers and cheese slices with veggies and dips. Cold pizza is always a hit too! Just try to think of things that he likes for dinner that can be good cold too! I have picky boys who don't always want sandwiches for lunch...I know how hard it is. Hope this helps.

Something different is to pack summer sausage, cheese, crackers or baguette slices, maybe a little container of mustard (spicy brown) and fruit or grapes. It's nutritious and filling and something a guy would like. Might want to throw in a cookie or something sweet too.

Get one of those wide mouthed Thermos flasks that you can give him soups, stews or casseroles.

Make you own hamburger type buns with cold meat, lettuce, egg or cheese etc (use torpedo rolls, like a sub sammie)

    Bowls of salads.

You could do a pasta salad with grilled sliced of chicken and veggies. Try using Barilla's protein pasta....really good, and doesn't taste very much different from regular pasta.

    baguette

pasta with some vegetables- buy it in supermarket like asda

maybe just put some chicken nuggets/dippers in the oven, let them cool overnight and wrap them in foil for the next day
