Vista is Microsoft's newest operating system. No it is not fading away from Xp because you will have people that will stay with Xp because they are afraid of Vista

I'm sure you know what Vista is since your asking if it will fade out XP!

XP will be around for awhile, Microsoft will eventually stop supporting it, by then Vista will be in XP's shoes.

Vista is new. It won't replace XP right away because Vista doesn't play well with many older applications. Corporations are in no hurry to replace all their software just for an iffy new OS! ;-)=

Vista is a bug ridden, memory hogging, incompatibility program that was put out by Microsoft to make people truly appreciate Windows XP
