If you believe that your computer may be being hacked, you may want to install a good firewall program like ZoneAlarm. Available free at http://download.com/ it will monitor all traffic to and from your computer, and allow you to look at a log of the activity where you should be able to see anyone else who accesses you computer. It also has features to allow you to loack them out.

Its possible for someone to hack ur system as long as u r in a network and don't have a firewall installed

Wow. I'd hate to be your neighbor and have you accuse me of tampering with your computer. lol. What exactly is the problem with your pc? You could have just gotten a virus from a site that you visited.
