Favorite magical object - gotta be a wand. (so unoriginal right? but seriously, what else is as important?) I also like the pictures.

Least favorite magical object -ok. I cheated by looking at others answers, BUT I have to say Floo Powder, Horocruxes, and Rememberalls.

I have tons of brooms. I'm a sucker for them. I always buy the newest fastest models. My other ones are in good condition, but I never use them anymore. I can't sell them though, I guess I collect them now! =D

No, not really. I just thought it was magically appearing. I didn't know the rule that you can't just make something appear from nowhere at the time, but now I guess my logic doesn't make sense anymore.

Ginny - I like her name. umm, I guess i'd go with Emma. I think Ginny's name needs to be simple. Emma Weasley.

Harry - ahh, I like this name too!! Ok...umm.. well, this sounds kinda odd, but I think Daniel (I know, I know, it's not just because Daniel Radcliffe, it's because I like the name!). I mean, seriously, Daniel Potter...it has a flow, no?

Ron - umm...Jacob..Jake Weasley. =D

Hermione - I think her name needs to be original.. but I like Abby. Abby Granger. or Abigail Granger.

Fred/George - I love their names, I can't change them! OoO I know what I'll do. Ok. Now George is Fred. Fred is George. (like that won't confuse people EVEN more. But if everyone is confusing them anyways, atleast now they'll get it right. =D )

Luna - I like Laveda. I know it sounds weird, but it's Latin for innocent, and I think that fits. Laveda Lovegood. Lav Lovegood for short (but then that sounds like Lavendar..darn!)

Severus!! I know this isn't much a difference, but I like Servius. Severus means stern, Servius means "to preserve." I think that fits, right?

And Yes! I've always wondered who makes and puts the food whenever the students have to eat. I think it mentioned in either the fourth or the fifth that house elves cook in the kitchens.

In the first 3 books, I think it did cross my mind once or twice "Where is the food coming from?" but I never expected the answer to be HOUSE ELVES. lol. I just thought it was magic, that the professors would think up a menu and conjure the food with their wands... =D

My favorite character is probably Hermione, because I'm a total NERD just like her, and my hair is big and puffy, too. But I'm madly in love with Draco Malfoy, though I hate to admit it... I wouldn't change anyone's name, J.K. Rowling did a great job, the names suit the characters pretty well...

Favorite magical object, a wand because it's the wizard's lifeline, isn't it? Least favorite would be a Remembrall. I mean, what's the use of having something that would remind you that you've forgotten something? You still have to rack your brains to remember what it was even if you're not as forgetful as Neville. Why not an object that would actually tell what it is that you've forgotten?

Won't rename any character in the series except perhaps Ron and Hermione's kids (Hugo and Rose?! They're so without character, not the names per se, but in relation to Ron and Hermione and everything they've been to. I mean, relative to Harry naming their kids after his parents, his godfather, two Hogwarts headmasters, you would have expected Ron & Hermione's kids' names to have some history, too.

My favorite magical object would be the wand of course. But I also love the Marauder's Map.

I really like all the magical objects but if I had to choose my least favorite, I'd probably say Horcruxes.

I don't have a magic broom like the Firebolt or the Nimbus or the Comet 260 or the Cleansweep or whatever, but I have a broom I sweep the floor with.

I always just figured the food was like, a magic thing Dumbledore did. Like he waved his hands and it appeared.

I would rename....uh nobody because JK Rowling obviously put a hell of a lot of work into naming her characters because they're all so perfect. =D

I have a couple of nice crystal wands -- very useful for healing spells

That's a tough one, I think the character I would rename would be Snape becuase his name is too mean for such a sweetie :)

I honestly thought Dumbledore did silent magic to conjur it up. Now of course we know it's one Gamp's Five Laws of Elemental Transfiguration, so that's not possible. Bummer

I love Dobby but I wouldn't rename him at all. Maybe give him a mid and last name...
