Besides beefing up your RAM, you could also replace your hard disk with faster one.
If you haven't done so, use Disk Utility to repair permissions. Better yet, get a third party shareware to optimize your system.

You can't increase the processor speed, but you could try upgrading the RAM.
Go to www.crucial.com and run their system scanner. This will tell you what kind of RAM you need. You can then either buy from them or elsewhere.

Yes she is right you cant it is simply to old to upgrade you could buy a new one if you do i would consider a lap top i am using one right now but if you want a computer go with dell
