my camera does not work on my computer but it works on every other computer i tried.?

did you turn on your camera to the picture viewing mode? you have to turn on your camera in order to upload. also, did you install the software that came with the camera? i too have a canon camera and turning the power on my camera always gets to me cause i always think it'll automatically turn on like my ipod. XD i hope i helped!!

If you have another USB port, try it in there, if you haven't. Often, USB ports can be damaged by unplugging/plugging over time.

With the camera plugged in to USB and power on, goto my computer and look for removable storage shown as new item, right click it and then click explore.

try installing first the software that goes with the camera on your computer.
