Question about MucinexDM?
Does MucinexDM makeyou feel jittery or make your heart feel like it's beating too fast? Also, does anyone know if it's safe to take it with Xanax?

The DM part of Mucinex is a decongestant & can cause jitteriness or heart beat fast (like Sudafed really wires me up).
As long as you don't take the xanax & the Mucinex together, you should be okay.
Why don't you try the regular Mucinex & use saline nasal spray several times/day.

You're supposed to avoid taking cold medicine while taking Xanax, but that may just be cold medicines with alcohol. Though, I've never had that effect with Mucinex DM.

it made me jittery, but it didnt make my heart race....that could be from the combo of the two meds
