Can a big dude really beat hell out of smaller guys?
They say, size doesn't matter in Martial arts, but, really, if a big dude learned all the moves and worked just as hard, couldn't he do way better than anyone else learning martial arts?

Big guys with same training will smash little guys - they don't need moves - just pick em up and throw em. then do it again. and again if need be.
Little guys should stick to fighting little guys in little shorts. That way no one gets hurt.. hahaha

Knowing martial arts will give a small guy and advantage over a bigger guy who doesn't know anything, but if the bigger guy learns the moves too ofcource the advantage will be decreased
Ofcource just like when two guy with no martial arts experience fight the smaller guy always has a chance to win but the bigger guy has a larger chance, so it depends, its deifnately better to be bigger than smaller but there is such a thing as TOO big

There are MA styles out there that have been invented so that the small guy can defeat a bigger guy. Try Judo for example if you opponent is larger then you all the better which means that you can get under his centre of gravity and throw him. But if the two were fighting using Muay Thai then the Bigger guy would have the advantage. Being big can be a advantage in some situations and a hindrance in others.

Maybe. It depends on the two people who are involved in the fight. The smaller guy may be much stronger than the bigger guy, so the smaller guy would have more of an advantage. It just solely depends on the build of the two people.

no, everyone thinks differently and their bodies adapt to different situations.. amazingly grappling arts are good for smaller people because they can slide through faster and stick on longer. And you're not going to necessarily see a sumo guy doing tae kwan do jumping spinning kicks. It all depends on the person and the situation.
If the small guy practices with people smaller and bigger then him, then yes he'll know his flaws and strengthen them. You're not going to fight bruce lee the same way you'd fight arnold schwartzenneger, right? but if you practiced to fight bruce only (let's say he's a normal martial artist just like us) then you wouldn't have an idea on how to fight arnold.
Size does matter, because like i said, you're not going to fight gary coleman the same way you'd fight yao ming.
Peace.

I don't think so, smaller people are normally quicker and more agile and flexible.
I beat the hell out of big guys when sparring who are the same level as me.

If the big guy is an experienced fighter, yes he can beat a smaller guy. However just because he is big and powerful does not necessarily equate as unbeatable.

The better fighter will win. That can be the bigger or smaller fighter. I was a smaller fighter, but I was always succesfull against larger guys.

If Hulk Hogan or Sting could move the way Bruce Lee did, then... need I say more??? But it is a huge IF. This is why we need human cloning, wouldn't it be fun to find out?

Hmm... for me in muay thai, the guys who are smaller are more violent than the bigger ones. they could beat the hell out of them... well if you disagree... then its up to you
