I can not see the LIST OF WIRELESS bases(stations) in my laptop?

I used to go to wireless property and see a list of wireless stations available to my laptop, but I can not see it any more I can not even see my own Airport, someone said it is because of D-Link routers ,(which I do not have )but it did not work ,my neighbor has a Syslink router no password, most the time by default my laptop picks it up maybe because it has stronger signal ,I do not want it, I also checked it out in microsoft site and none of their solution (from users) helped ..it is like this "

start wzc service(Wireless Zero Configuration)

micorosoft knowledge base Article ID 871122,"

Any one had the same problem? and have a solution Please Help me.

If you right-click the Wireless Network Connection symbol on the taskbar and click "View Available Wireless Connections", it should show all the wireless stations in range. Sometimes mine won't show up, and when that happens I go and reboot the router. My neighbor has Linksys and shows up on mine, but it's usually not a strong enough signal to get any connection anyway.

You can also try disabling and enabling the wireless network from Network Connections, which should be available through the Start menu.

All of this is assuming you use a Windows computer.

If none of this works for you, I don't know what to suggest.

I have had this problem myself.. is this with Windows Vista? They're software bugs are really getting annoying..

You need to do a system restore and restore your settings back to an earlier time.

I can explain how to do this if you like.
