They all unlock with the progression of the game. You can download someone elses savegame though if you want to check them all out.

I don't know about the first game but on Going Commando press R3 to check out your objectives. Then when you have got the objectives that are in the story (i.e. Find The Thief who stole the lab experiment) completed you will automatically download the next planet's coordinates. Then all you have to do is go back to your ship and you will have the next planet available to go.
