Can I use canola oil instead of vegtable oil to make peanut butter cookies?

    yes, it works the same way and tastes the same

    Yes. You can substitute almost any oil for vegetable oil, with the exception of olive oil, which has a definite taste. So use canola, sunflower, peanut, or other oil in the place of vegetable oil whenever you need to.

    Canola oil is a kind of vegetable oil, isn't it? Made from veggies like brussel sprouts and turnips I thought. Anyhow, yes, you can interchange them.

    Fruits have seeds; "vegetable" is a non-scientific word for expanded edibles

    both are roughly the same except when it comes to protein. MOST veggies include a respectable amount of protein; fruits does not.
