I'm having trouble with my Nintendo Wii... can you please help me?

WiiConnect 24 sends you updates and info even when your system's power is off. The orange light means it's in Standby mode, the power is off, but you can still recieve messages. When you recieve a message, the disc slot lights up.

if this stuff bothers you, you can turn all this off in the options menu, under "WiiConnect 24".

There are separate options to turn off Standby mode, and to turn off the slot illumination when you get a message.

when your yellow light comes on it means that you turned off your console but your still online (which is good) and everytime when the blue light comes on it means that you got a new message. and you can view it when you go to the wii's menu and on the bottom right corner there is an envelope with the number and click it and you should see your mail.

the yellow light is your internet connection on the wii(it happens to me too)and to cut it off,you have to turn it on then after you turn it on,you press the power button and hold it for 10 sec or more.if you did it right,then the light should turn red like in the old days :)

Its just wii connect24 mine does that all day every day. Its perfectly fine don't worry about it at all! :)

the blue light means there is a message on the message board it is completely normal
