I consider myself an insidious element.
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
(In a good way, of course.)
To have made my point? I'm here to ask questions that I don't know the answers to, and to answer honestly the best way I can. I guess that's the point.
Have I been here long enough? Probably not. I have laundry to do, thanks for the reminder ><
Have I changed my views? Um...I don't honestly know. I'm still me, and rather, I've noticed, over time, a change here. Many are positive changes.
I've been received as a ghost would be received. I don't think many people notice me. I'm so damn average
change my tactics? well, sometimes I pretend to be the Sorcerer from Mortal Kombat. That's fun. But it's very simplistic and easily petered out. That's about as risque as I'll get.

I don't think I'm trying to make a point, I'm just addicted to R&S (which might mean I don't have a life or something like that). 1. I think *some* people *get* and appreciate me from the email and blog feedback I get and I think I irk folks who don't want educated responses messing up their belief systems, indicated by the thumbs down and occasional troll activity I am the victim of. 2) Some of my views have changed here and there because I'm interested in knowing what is true and that means sorting through popular fads of thought and misinterpretations of data as well as indoctrinated belief. I don't hold onto ideas once I realize that they may not hold water. I know that beliefs are all provisional and speculative, and I don't have a problem with paradoxes either. 3) I think I answered that in point #1. 4) I don't have tactics. Or perhaps I just want to offer "real" answers and rise above or counter the bravado, preaching, etc. in this forum. I just respond either with what I know is "real" educated information or with humor and I appreciate coming upon real info or humor. I'll star anything that makes me laugh.
I can also identify with that last paragraph by the Dude. Despite all the high-falutin' thoughts, things are essentially really confusing--and it should be that way, even though it feels uncomfortable. In sorting through all ideas and realizing the vanity and transparency of all ideas and beliefs, one might achieve a little thing called gnosis (divine insight).

Yes, I have been here long enough for people to pretty much know what my response to some questions will be and no, I will never change my views on certain doctrines or tactics and I have been received well for the most part but then again everyone has a bad day here and there and when those days coincide with mine it can be pretty funny.

1) After nearly 2 years, if people don't know me by now, they aren't ever going to.
2) Some views I've changed, and with others I've grown stronger than ever.
3) I don't think I'm very well liked, but I didn't sign on here to win Miss Congeniality. I originally came here from the news rooms. I was being trolled unmercifully, and when I found out my "haters" were in this forum, I dropped in just to let them know they couldn't intimidate me. They're long gone, and I remain.
4) What tactics? What you see is what you get, Rammie. If someone's being trolled I'll stand up for them. Those who show respect get the same back from me.
EDIT: Oops, forgot to answer your title question. :)
I don't know that I have a point. If I do, it would be that no one, not one single person, knows with any certainty what happens to us when we die. Our beliefs are just matters of opinion, and each opinion is as valid as the next. Therefore, treat everyone with respect.

0. I'm not sure I have a point.
1. No, I don't know what I'm about, so I don't expect others to be able to figure that out.
2. I've changed my views to be a lot less staunch. Confused, even.
3. Depends on the receiver.
4. I don't have tactics, I have snarky remarks! :)
To be honest, I've been confused and unsure about almost everything lately. I'm pretty sure religion is a bunch of nonsense, but I'm overwhelmed by the complexity of epistemology. At any rate, I don't think theists are "delusional" anymore.

Religion is another means of controlling a population. It's hard to control a population that has a different religion than yours. Some empires have been able to do it, most can't. The most insecure religion is Christianity, which must convert, enslave, or exterminate the nonbelievers in their controlled areas. Islam is a distant second, although we hear about their fundamentalist nut-jobs more than we do about the Christian nut-jobs.

I don't think you can make your point to most out here, spirituality is way too personal. I think I and most have made points but not our point. I don't even think I could explain my point to someone willing to sit and listen indefinitely.
1) I think most of the regulars have a pretty good idea of what my views are in general. I also find that since changing my name the non regulars seem to as well. Having Jesus in my name before seemed to make people assume I was a christian.
2) My views towards those of faith have changed I think but not really my views on religion itself. I don't see that there is too much out there that could change my views, I seem to have held them since before I really understood what religion was.
3) I assume I have been at least somewhat well received as this is still my first account, I know for sure that a few are certainly not my biggest fans but with tha dynamic out here who is liked by all?
4) They haven't changed in life so I can't imagine they will change much out here. I have mellowed a bit for sure and was much snarkier generally when I first got here.

1-I don't even know what I am about yet. If anyone else has me figured out I hope they can show me as an outsider looking at me
2-My views have not changed much but I have always been pretty accepting
3-Not sure how I have been received -almost everyone who knows me likes me. I guess I'm accepted
4- I really don't know what my tactics are but will change them to suit the situation if necessary.

#0. I have no points to make, I do give info sometimes.
#1. In keeping with the tradition that coyotes are tricksters I keep changing.
#2. Yes, I keep changing.
#3. Very well by most.
#4. Of course, no self respecting coyote isn't prepared to take a leap.

Title question: I didnt know I was suppossed to have a point...SHOOT!
1.) That's hard to say...the way they answer my questions, I dont think so.
2.) YES, Ive changed, but was on my way to changing right before I got here...My R/S family, just showed me that my wings really did work.
3.) I have to say...ALL Good!!...some differences of opinions here and there, but that is to be expected.
4.) I want to always be open to change so...I'm open to it, but right now...I feel good about myself and the way that I carry myself.
Good question...thanks
