Does anyone know of any good indie bands?

Question

Snow Patrol aren't indie. So if you were gonna answer something like that, leave now. 

I'm bored, and want to find some music, but am too lazy to go search for some, so...ya =) I'd prefer that they have a myspace, purevolume, some sort of website, OR an EP/CD/downloadable songs =)

youd obviosly like +44 (two old blink members in it) same with angels and airwaves (lead singer is in that). billy talent, indie defines so many bands, but maybe somthing like funeral for a friend, hear the sirens (they are a bit heavier), incubus, john butler trio, rise against (they are maybe too rocky, but a great band), the frames, tom waits, whitely, foo fighters (maybe too rocky), scott matthews, gyroscope, cog, vampire weekend, just check out one band and check out their friends usually the music is similar, even though this is an aussie radio station they have some great indie alternative stuff they play its called triple j, check out their website and you will see some great stuff.
myspace also has a section with geners listed check under indie, rock or alternative and you will find heaps of stuff from signed to unsigned bands
