Fall is my favorite. The days are still warm and so are some nights. It's apple season. There is such a feeling of expectation in the air, although I don't know why. I love the sound of the fallen leaves rustling in the wind. I like the smells in the air. I like the position of the sun in the sky as the world turns into winter. My least favorite season is summer because where I live it is just TOO hot. We don't have air conditioning either. I enjoyed summer when I was young because the heat didn't bother me. When it's hot all day, it's usually too hot at night to sleep. There's no relief. To top it off, I have hot flashes. When it's a minimum of 100 degrees and a hot flash hits, I feel like I am sliding off the edge of sanity. There's almost nothing like it when you are hot outside AND inside and sweat is coming out from every single pore on your skin. I'm sorry I can't enjoy summer anymore. (I like the swimming part!)

Favorite - Fall (The pretty Fall colors come alive where I live and the scenery is out of this world. The weather is nice/mild and the atmosphere just has a great feel to it at that time of year.)
Least Favorite - Summer (The summer heat where I live is downright oppressive! It's not uncommon for it to reach 120+degrees outside. )
