best second basemen?

I agree with Brandon Phillips. Speed, pop in the bat, and good defense. Very well balanced player and most consistant of the second basemen so far. Chase Utley, Brian Roberts, Placido Polanco, and Robinson Cano are also cool second basemen.

Look at Upton and Utley I wouldnt go with utley because he isnt that durable b.J Upton Is a pretty good second base when hes at best and hudson is the most overrated player I do agree. People also dont realize the numbers Dan Uggla puts up and he takes some pressure off hanley on the marlins. Id say Utley.

You are correct that Brandon Phillips is the next of kin for second baseman, as for now however, it is Placido Polanco. He is a .300+ hitter, plus is the best defensive 2nd baseman in the bigs right now. He is up there in age, so I'm sure it won't last much longer. That's where Phillips will step in. Placido Polanco went 147 (un-f***in believable) games without an error.

Defensively I dont know to much about becasue I dont keep up with the phillies but ive heard his name on sports center so id guess so hope this helps :)
